1404 East Riverside PUD, a 381-unit residential project, is proposed for 1400½, 1404, 1404½, and 1408 East Riverside Drive in Austin's East Riverside neighborhood. Developed by South Shore Apartments Owner LP, it includes mixed-use spaces.
The building will reach 180 feet and offer a 1.17-acre public parkland, a public plaza along East Riverside Drive, and 13,000 sq ft of private common space. Long-term bicycle parking exceeds code by 150%, with 25% of parking spaces wired for EV charging and 10% initially equipped. ADA-accessible units make up 2.5% of the total.
The project includes 15 affordable housing units and a public water bottle filling station.
