Unconventional ATX, a 620,000 sq ft mixed-use development, is under construction at 500 E. Cesar Chavez St, Austin. Developed by the Austin Convention Center Department and designed by LMN/Page, the building will reach 350 feet with 1,685 parking spaces. Features include open-air terraces, public plazas, artist-driven spaces, and indoor-outdoor connections. Completion is set for December 31, 2028. The project aims for Zero Carbon certification from the International Living Future Institute, highlighting its sustainability focus.
